Ethyl glycol is an organic compound and is mainly used for two purposes, as a raw material in the manufacture of polyester fibers and for antifreeze formulations.
• Manufacturing Fibreglass used to make products such as jet skis, bathtubs and bowling balls
• Ink for ballpoint pens and other inks
• Heat transfer fluids such as industrial coolants for gas compressors, heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning systems and ice-skating rinks
